Quiche is a popular dish that can be made in a variety of ways. For large groups, it is important to calculate the quiche servings so that everyone gets their fair share. Here are four tips for calculating quiche servings:

  1. Start with the number of people in your group and multiply that by 1.5 to get the approximate number of quiches you will need.
  2. Quiche can be served as an appetizer, main course, or dessert. To determine how many servings each person will need, divide the total number of quiches by the number of people in your group and round up to the nearest whole number.
  3. Quiche can be made with a variety of fillings, such as eggs, cheese, vegetables, or meat. To determine how many servings each person will need, divide the total number of quiches by the number of people in your group and round up to the nearest whole number.
  4. Quiche can be served cold or hot. To determine how many servings each person will need, divide the total number of quiches by the number of people in your group and round up to the nearest whole number ..

But how many quiches should you make per person? Well, that depends on a few things. First, you need to decide what size quiche you want to make. Quiche is typically served in slices, so a good rule of thumb is one slice per person. However, if you’re serving other dishes (Tater Tots – because you can cook then in the oven at the same time) as well, you might want to make smaller slices. Next, you need to decide how many ounces of quiche each person will eat. This will depend on how hungry your guests are and how big of an appetite they have.

How Many Ounces Of Quiche Per Person is a Single Serving Of Quiche

A good starting point is four to six ounces of quiche per person if it is being served with some sides like coleslaw or perhaps a garden salad. However, if you only have Quiche, then I recommend budgeting on serving 8 oz per person. It might sound a lot – but I can easy each 10 oz for lunch if I am only having a quiche – see the photo below – it does not look that big.

I’ve often looked at the La Terra Fino Quiche 2-Pack as a walk down the aisle at Costco.  I grabbed one the other Saturday for Sunday lunch.

Taste

You get a two-pack which is great –  one quiche is Spinach and Artichoke, the other being Broccoli and Cheddar from the supplier  La Terra Fina. My favorite was the cheddar with broccoli, but surprisingly the Spinach quiche was great too.   I was afraid the artichoke would be too overpowering, but it was not. One of my key criteria in addition to the quiche filling is the quality of the pastry, and the crust did not disappoint. So Overall I liked this quiche and would buy it again, especially if I had a crowd over for lunch.

Cost

I paid $16 for the 2-pack – La Terra Fina 2 quiches which I think is pretty good value.

How To Bake A Costco Quiche
