It’s always fun to not just open a container and play with something, but to actually make it yourself. It’s also a very fun way to spend quality time with the kids! They love helping out with this craft just as much as they love playing with it. How to Make Homemade Play-Doh using Kool-Aid

Whisk together the flour, salt, cream of tartar, and Kool-Aid together in a medium saucepan. Stir in the water and oil. Heat the mixture over medium-low. Continue stirring over medium-low heat until the mixture thickens. Remove the mixture from the pan and place it on a sheet of parchment paper. Knead the mixture until it becomes a dough.
