Kisses Acorn Treats

Acorn Cookies are the best fall treats because they only contain three simple ingredients and are super easy to make. The best part is they turn out super cute too! These Acorn Kisses are the perfect fall treat for parties, potlucks, and everyday snacks. You may want to consider making an extra batch or two because they are bound to run out fast! If you like chocolate, peanut butter, and crunchy cookies, you’ll love eating these right up. Trademark Note: In the spirit of transparency, I want to note that some of these ingredients are trademarked products. Nutter Butters and Hershey’s Kisses are proprietary brands that I want to acknowledge and give credit to.

How to Make Acorn Cookies

Gently pull your nutter butters apart and remove the filling. Melt the peanut butter chips in the microwave. Dip your chocolate kiss into the melted peanut butter and then press the kiss onto one half of the nutter butter. Let them sit for five minutes before dipping each and then dip each peanut butter chip into the melted mixture and press it onto the other side of the cookie to make the stem.  Allow your adorable acorns to chill in the fridge before serving. Enjoy!

Ingredient Notes

Nutter Butter Bites: You can also use mini oatmeal cookies, nilla wafers, or any other small cookie with a smooth side. Hershey’s Dark Chocolate Kisses: You can substitute milk chocolate kisses or use almond kisses for an added nut surprise. Peanut Butter Baking Chips: You can substitute out milk chocolate, dark chocolate, or butterscotch chips if you wish.

These are the perfect fall snack! They’re great as decorations for Thanksgiving and Halloween parties, and fun to sneak into kids’ lunches before school.
