Ingredients: 1 pie crust 1 1/2 cups sugar 3 eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt 2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled 3 tablespoons milk, divided 1 cup ice cream, whipped or store-bought Instructions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a medium bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups sugar, 3 eggs, and vanilla extract. Stir in 2 cups of the flour and the baking powder. Stir in salt until well combined. Pour mixture into prepared dish. In a small bowl, melt butter until melted. Add milk to butter mixture; stir until well combined. Pour melted butter mixture over pie filling; spread evenly. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown on top and set in center of dish. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with whipped cream and ice cream

How to Make Boston Cream Pie Poke Cake
Whisk together the cake ingredients. Pour into a baking dish and bake. Let cool. Heat the milk and mix it into the egg yolk mixture. Whisk the mix over heat til it thickens and stir in the vanilla. Poke hole in the cooled cake and pour the pastry cream over. Cover and chill. Heat together the cream and chocolate to make the ganache. Pour the ganache over the chilled cake.
