How to Make German Chocolate Cake

In two bowl, mix your wet and dry ingredients then combine to make the cake batter. Divide the batter evenly into prepped cake pans and bake for 25 mins. Make the icing by combine all the icing ingredients in a saucepan and simmer. Combine all the buttercream ingredients in a stand mixer. Assemble your cake on a stand by alternating on your cake layers and piping on buttercream. Spread the buttercream over the entire surface of the cake. Pipe buttercream swirls around the edge of the cake. Spread the coconut pecan icing on the top of the cake. Drizzle with chocolate syrup then serve!
