Ingredients: 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 3 tablespoons butter, melted 3 tablespoons sugar 2 large eggs, beaten 1 cup peach puree, canned or fresh (I used frozen) 1 tablespoon vanilla extract Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish. In a small bowl, whisk together flour, salt and baking powder. Add to the butter and sugar; mix until well blended. In another bowl, whisk together eggs and peach puree; add to the wet mixture. Mix until well blended. Pour batter into the prepared dish. Sprinkle with vanilla extract before bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Peach French Toast Recipe

We regularly eat French toast on the weekends. It’s a special treat that we love to enjoy together. This peach version combines fresh peaches with an amazing homemade maple syrup. Don’t let the syrup scare you off, it’s super easy and takes this French toast over the top delicious.

How to Make Peach French Toast with Maple Syrup

Make the bourbon maple syrup by combining the maple syrup, bourbon, and vanilla on low heat. Whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Fully coat the skillet with 1 tbsp of butter. Dip 1-2 slices of bread at a time in the mixture making sure to coat all sides of the bread. Cook on the skillet for 2 minutes per side or until brown. Repeat for the rest of the bread, adding in more butter when needed. Serve the french toast immediately and top with butter, a dusting of confectioners’ sugar, the bourbon maple syrup, and sliced peaches.
