Ingredients: 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature 2 cups granulated sugar 2 large eggs, beaten 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt 8 ounces semisweet chocolate chips, chopped (I used a mix of Dutch and Swiss chocolate) Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Add salt to the dry ingredients; stir until well combined. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet; bake for 12 minutes or until cookies are golden brown and set around the edges. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack to cool completely.
