Ingredients: 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 cup granulated sugar 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder Pinch of salt 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips, divided Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan.
  2. In the bowl of your electric mixer, cream together butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract and mix until just combined. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; set aside. Add half of the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients mixture; mix until just combined. Mix in chocolate chips last. Pour batter into prepared pan; smooth top with a spoon or your hands if desired. Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 10 minutes before serving warm (if cool enough to handle, cut into squares).

How to Make Double Chocolate Chip Cookies with Cake Mix

Preheat your oven to 350°F. Spray a cookie sheet with baking spray or line it with parchment paper, and set it to the side.  In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the cake mix, vegetable oil, egg yolks, and egg. Fold in the chocolate chips.  Spoon golfball-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet about 1 inch apart. Bake your cookies for 16-18 minutes.
