How to Make Lemon Bundt Cake

Whisk together the dry ingredients with the lemon zest. Cream together the sugar and butter. Mix in the eggs, lemon juice and lemon extract. Combine the dry ingredients with the sugar mix and buttermilk in increments. Pour the batter into a pan and bake. Let cool. Melt together the chocolate and condensed milk. Stir in the lemon and glaze the cake.

This lemon-flavored cake is perfect for Spring, summer, and all kinds of holidays!

What makes bundt cakes so moist?

Bundt Cake recipes need more moisture than other cakes, to help protect them from drying out. Since there is no center in a Bundt Cake pan, a larger portion of the cake is exposed to the surface of the pan. We use buttermilk here to infuse more moisture, instead of sour cream.
